What is a file service for workshops?
The workshop reads the ECU with its slave tool, uploads the file to our portal and we prepare modified software that the workshop writes back to the vehicle.
How fast do I get the modified file?
During business hours (Mon – Fri 8:00 – 17:00) usually within 40 minutes. Complex and custom work is agreed in advance.
What if a car has an issue after tuning?
Our files are tested and we stand behind them. If an issue ever comes up, we always solve it and never refuse to fix the file.
Can I use the portal with a master tool?
No. The CarComplexFiles portal is exclusively for Magic Motorsport FLEX slave users. Master accounts cannot use it.
Which tool do you work with?
Only Magic Motorsport FLEX. We supply FLEX OBD + Bench slave (€2,000 excl. VAT) and FLEX Full slave (€2,900 excl. VAT) with training.
What is the difference between FLEX OBD + Bench and FLEX Full?
OBD + Bench covers engine ECUs of cars, vans and motorcycles via OBD and on the bench. Full adds gearbox units (TCU) and boot, BDM and JTAG modes.
Can you tune new cars from 2022 on?
Yes. We can unlock newer locked ECUs for our dealers so they can be tuned. Send us the ECU type and we will confirm the procedure.
Where does training take place?
In person at our branch in Čadca, Slovakia. We cover FLEX, the portal, the first tunes and pricing for your customers.
When and how is support available?
Mon – Fri 8:00 – 17:00 online; contracted dealers also by phone (the number comes with the partnership). We help with reading, writing, errors and choosing the right tune. Please make first contact through the form.
Do you tune trucks and machinery?
Yes. Trucks, buses, vans, tractors and construction machines, as long as FLEX supports the ECU.
How do I pay for files?
With credits in the portal. The credit and service pricelist is available after login; new members get a 0.3 credit bonus on their first purchase.
Do you do DPF, EGR or AdBlue off?
No. We do not disable or remove emission systems. We only carry out legal DPF, EGR and AdBlue repairs.
Do you work with workshops outside Slovakia?
Yes. We work online, so we partner with workshops in Slovakia, Czechia and across Europe.
